Self-Custody

Regular Cardano dApps require you to commit assets up front. You pay a transaction fee to deposit, your assets move to a script address outside your control, and if the trade or position doesn't execute, you pay another fee to withdraw. Throughout this process, your assets are out of your hands.

With a Smart Account, your assets remain in your custody until the very instant they are needed to fulfil an intent. If a condition is never met, nothing happens — no fees, no locked funds, no cancellation transactions. You simply update or remove your intents whenever you choose.
